VIST Financial Hires Acanfora as CIO

VIST Financial, a diversified financial services company based in Wyomissing, Pa., that offers banking, insurance and wealth management services, appointed John F. Acanfora chief information officer. Acanfora will be responsible for overall strategy, leadership, management and execution related to existing and new technology for the insurance, banking and wealth management lines of business within VIST Financial ($1.3 billion in total assets).

Barrett in a statement.

Prior to joining VIST Financial, Acanfora served in executive-level IT roles with the Morning Call Newspaper in Allentown, Pa.; the former Keystone Savings Bank (Bethlehem, Pa.); and Air Products and Chemicals, where he provided leadership in operations, IT, project planning and management service support. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Pace University (New York) and has attended various banking, technology and executive development programs.
