That dissatisfaction that you mention Mike keeps showing up in survey after survey. Given the profitability of treasury services, it's definitely about time that those customers' needs get addressed.

Yes, indeed it is.  We're seeing a fairly significant race to the white space in the treasury market.  The last major refresh of these systems was 10+ years ago.  Since then, a lot has changed in terms of customer needs and solutions in the market.  And there's a generous feeling a disatisfaction with what can be described as tradition treasury services, like payments and transaction banking.  Thanks for your comments.

Interesting post, Michael. It does seem that innovation from a treasury management perspective has not been such a high priority for fianncial institutions as other parts of the business, but perhaps that's starting to change.
