Re: If only AA would play
I had no idea is was such a common opinion. If this were 2009 I'd probably start a Facebook group for it.

Re: If only AA would play
Wow AA is really taking a beating on the message boards here. Sounds like there should be some kind of support group for AA customers.

Ugh, I hear you, I ended up using my thousands of AA points on a couple magazine subscription days before they expired. They never arrived.

Re: If only AA would play
Certainly. Bitcoin certainly has the media's attention, but I'm not sure what role they will play in the payments game, ultimately. There are many things that need to fall into place first, so I'm sure we will be debating this for some time to come!

PayPal seems to believe in the potential of paying with Bitcoins, if you check out the announcement from yesterday. Not sure if they're right. But I think that even if Bitcoin doesn't make it as a payments tool, some other virtual currency will come along and succeed.

Re: If only AA would play
Here's the key: "From a consumers' perspective, it isn't about what form factor the payment is made with (plastic vs. mobile device). It's about giving the most options in how to pay." It's all about convenience and ease of use. At this point, I don't see anyone participating in any kind of rewards program where it is impossible or cumbersome to redeem the points.

Yeah, definitely seems like a good product from both Wingcash and Mastercard. This is what Finovate is all about!

If only AA would play
Wow, at one time i had over 300k in American Airline miles sitting in my account. Every time i tried to use them, it was a blackout date. If I could have used them to buy coffee, or gasoline, or something that I use everyday, I might still fly AA.
