If banks want to add more mobile functionality, they should take the time to make sure those capabilities are fully developed. Adding more capabilities is good, but only if they can improve the customer experience.

Part of the reason is because they just think of mobile as being the same as online. They just try to dump as much of their online capabiltiies on to mobile as possible.

Good article
I have always been wondering why banks considered mobile apps as some kind of should-have-because-it's-trending without paying much attention to the app quality and contents. And unfortunately it is still the case in the country I live.
