Overview: A Chicago-based private fixed income value investor specializing in corporate bonds, Dolan McEniry has nearly doubled its assets under management to over $2 billion in the past 18 months as investors poured funds into their fixed income strategies. “Due to the current investment climate, investors are allocating more assets to fixed income and Dolan McEniry has been fortunate to have greatly increased assets under management. This AUM growth required an upgrade to our portfolio accounting system and order management system,” says Daniel D. Dolan, Jr., Managing Member. The decision to implement Advent’s product suite has had an immediate return on investment for Dolan McEniry. Since the implementation of Advent’s APX, the firm now generates monthly and quarterly reports in half the time. Additionally, the integration of APX, Advent Custodial Data (ACD) and Rex? has enabled Dolan McEniry to conduct monthly reconciliation and performance calculations of its more than 550 accounts in just one day, compared to the four to five days required using the previous system. At the same time, the implementation of Moxy?, Advent’s order management system, has helped the firm’s traders manage mounting trade volumes more effectively. The complete system creates a seamless integration between the firm’s trading and operations departments.
