Community Bank Expands NYCE Contract

DeWitt, N.Y.-based Community Bank has renewed its participation with Metavante's NYCE Network (Secaucus, N.J.) and named NYCE its exclusive provider of PIN debit and ATM card access.

Community Bank has $5.3 billion in assets and 148 branches across upstate New York and northeastern Pennsylvania, where it operates as First Liberty Bank Trust. The bank contributes 135,000 cards and 132 ATMs to the NYCE Network.

"Community Bank is known for being a well-managed bank with a customer-oriented approach and superior service," said Robin Dumas, VP, Electronic Banking manager, Community Bank, in a statement. "It's imperative for us to work with vendors who are aligned with that focus. NYCE has demonstrated that it can work closely with us to support our customers' needs and our unique growth objectives, while looking forward to identify new payment opportunities that will translate to bottom line results."
