CGI Rolls out Web Promises for Customer-Driven, Online Collections Activity

Information technology provider CGI Group Inc. (Fairfax, Va.) has launched Web Promises, a Web agent that organizations can integrate into existing collections system to facilitate 24/7 agentless collection activity, including most aspects of debt negotiations, commitments, payments and settlements.

Two financial institutions, including Fifth Third Bank (Cincinnati), have already signed on to use CGI's Web Promises. The solution enables organizations to put their collections activities on the Web quickly and cost-effectively, according to the company. The tool allows consumers to resolve any delinquency in self-service mode and on their schedule. In addition, Web Promises is easily integrated with CGI's CACS' Enterprise and other collections systems, leveraging a Services Oriented Architecture (SOA), enabling new solutions to be brought on-line with minimal time to market.
