The E-Commerce Path

By some estimates, 70% or more of all e-commerce transactions are abandoned at checkout, valued at roughly $18 billion a year. There are many reasons for this ... re: 5 Predictions About the Future of Digital Wallets
I'm looking forward to a good, comprehensive digital wallet. I was disappointed that the iPhone 5 & iOS6 didn't have more with NFC/Passbook. When I'm in Canada now, I can use my Blackberry with NFC as my Visa card. I've used it a few times and it's pretty cool.

I'm looking forward to more advancements in this realm, as I hardly carry cash and dislike having to use various platforms to make payments while out and about.-

A viable one-click microtransaction (under $1) will eventually be seen as a fundamental missing element even if only used occasionally.

Moreover an Internet wallet (or wallets sharing the capability) can form the basis of a vitally needed civic-oriented network.
