April 07, 2009 Bluepoint Solutions, a Vista, Calif.-based provider of remote deposit capture technology, has introduced Consumer RDC. As the name implies, the solution is designed for home-based RDC by banks' and credit unions' consumer customers using a secure Internet connection and scanner.

RDC Consumer is fully integrated with Bluepoint's transport service, which compiles image files from its other RDC products including branch, teller, merchant and ATM, for immediate clearing and earliest possible funds availability. RDC Consumer also maintains a central repository that makes image files immediately available for research and retrieval, institution-wide.
