Fair Isaac Releases Blaze Advisor Upgrade
Fair Isaac (Minneapolis) released version 6.5 of its Blaze Advisor business rules management system. Designed to help organizations increase the precision, consistency and agility of high-volume decisions, the software provides businesses with enhanced support for managing rules and analytics from development through deployment, Fair Isaac says. Blaze Advisor allows nonprogrammers to design, deploy, execute and maintain business rules and policies as part of an automated business application, the company adds.
3VR Unveils Check Fraud Tool
San Francisco-based 3VR Security unveiled a new tool for fighting check fraud, the 3VR Searchable Surveillance System for Banks, which combines video management, search, face biometrics and integration with banking case management and transaction systems. According to 3VR, the system is the first surveillance solution designed specifically to address the $5 billion-a-year, over-the-counter check fraud problem faced by U.S. retail banks.
Axway Introduced Two-Factor Authentication Software
Axway (Scottsdale, Ariz.) introduced Synchrony Managed File Transfer (MFT), software that enables financial institutions to utilize two-factor authentication for all transactions and apply the level of authentication appropriate for each transaction. The solution consists of a combination of authentication methods, such as passwords, digital signing certificates and biometrics.
