Maybank Rolls Out Welcome

Maybank (Malayan Bank Berhad; Malaysia) implemented Welcome's (Aix-en-Provence, France) XLS smart card software to enhance its EMV payment cards with customer-centric features. Maybank will use XLS' enhanced payment features for its EMV credit and chip debit/ATM cards to increase card usage at merchant outlets. XLS will be the foundation on which Maybank's cardholders are rewarded via multiple channels, starting with EMV-enabled terminals.
