Source Technologies Redesigns Kiosk

Source Technologies (Charlotte, N.C.) redesigned its 5-Series Kiosk to provide greater flexibility in device integration. The 5-Series -- which can be used in financial institutions for self-service transactions -- uses standard, off-the-shelf hardware and software, enabling retailers and financial institutions to benefit from lower acquisition, operating and maintenance costs; reduced upgrade times; and extended equipment life, the vendor claims.

SIA Automates Best Execution for MiFID

SIA (Milan) has launched a software tool for best execution on securities transactions to help firms comply with Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) requirements. Users of SIA's execution policy monitoring for MiFID platform, SIA-EAGLE, are guaranteed that transactions are carried out in the best possible conditions -- in terms of profitability, cost and timeliness -- in line with the execution strategy agreed upon by their own financial intermediaries, the company says.
