re: Online Banking Fraud Made Simple
That is odd - I expect at least an immediate e-mail confirmation when I sign up for something, change account details, or place an order. Otherwise I get nervous. But if they wanted to do something more, like text me, I get annoyed even though I know it's for my own security.

Mobile is not yet the low hanging fruit, but it's getting there! The number of attacks is reportedly very much on the rise, but pales in comparison.

Interesting article. I just reset a password the other day that didn't require use of email, which surprised me. Normally changing a password requires an email or two from the company.

So far, there have been very few attacks via mobile. As the mobile channel grows, of course, the number of mobile security incidents will increase. But for now, online banking is still one of the largest hacking/fraudster targets (after hacking directly into a bank's systems, of course).

Good info. Goes to show you that even with all the emphasis placed on mobile and security around that channel, online banking is still a big target.
