February 02, 2009 Tulsa, Okla.-based BOK Financial Corp. has named Ben Cowen president of Mortgage Search & Acquisition, its mortgage company. Mortgage Search & Acquisition operates offices in Dallas and Reno and specializes in executive search and acquisition services for the financial services sector.

Cowen officially started his new role on Dec. 15, 2008 and reports to BOK Financial senior EVP Steve Bradshaw. He brings more than 25 years of mortgage banking experience in multiple production channels to BOK Financial, including retail, wholesale, correspondent lending and consumer based banking. His most current role was with LendingTree as national sales director. He previously served as SVP at Wachovia, managing national wholesale and branch operations. Cowen will relocate from his current residence in Charlotte, N.C., to Tulsa.
