2012 ELITE 8: Recharging the Batteries

In today's highly charged banking environment, the pressure on technology executives can be extreme. Here's how some of this year's Elite 8 leaders balance their work and personal lives.

Dominic Venturo: Gearhead at Heart

U.S. Bank's Dominic Venturo enjoys spending his time outside of the office working on a different kind of technology: old cars and motorcycles. Venturo's dad taught him how to rebuild bikes and cars at a young age, and he has owned various motorcycles since he was 12 years old. He is particularly proud of his 2000 Harley-Davidson "Fat Boy" (pictured). Venturo says he spent about three years fixing it up, doing most of the work himself, with the exception of engine and wiring work, which was done by a local Harley-Davidson dealer. -- B.Y.
