Wayne, N.J.-based Harvey Nash USA, the U.S. division of the global search and talent solutions firm The Harvey Nash Group (London), has introduced a program to help distressed outsourcing projects worldwide.

The Harvey Nash USA Safe Haven Program is designed to transform failing, behind-schedule offshoring projects so they go back on schedule and on-budget. The Safe Haven Program combines a proprietary methodology that the company says enables organizations to review their migration options cost effectively. It also provides a free assessment of migratory challenges and opportunities for improvement by Harvey Nash using its Vietnamese development centers and its global hubs.

"Demand is growing for greater transparency and better corporate governance for offshore development work as the economy worsens and high profile offshoring projects fail or disappoint. Not only are we responding to these macro factors, but we are also acting in response to the strong interest we are experiencing for migrating underperforming projects of other providers into our centers," said Robert Miano Harvey Nash USA president and CEO, in a statement.
