Craig Rhinehart appointed vice president of sales and marketing for Tarian Software; Elma Carey named sales director for Prediction Dynamics; Mariagrazia Polo appointed sales executive for Italy for JPMorgan Investor Services Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Craig Rhinehart has been appointed vice president of sales and marketing for Tarian Software, a Fairfax, Va.-based provider of embedded electronic recordkeeping technology for business applications. Rhinehart joins Tarian Software from Anystream, where he directed the company's successful sales efforts of their industry-leading streaming media production software. He is a 20-year software industry executive who has served in senior sales and marketing positions for information technology companies.

Elma Carey has been named sales director for Prediction Dynamics, a systematic trading and risk management software company. Carey will head Prediction Dynamics' worldwide business development effort and brings 20 years of sales experience in Europe and the USA to the company. She gained her experience working with industry leaders such as Hewlett-Packard, Spectron Microsystems (now Texas Instruments) and BEA Systems.

Mariagrazia Polo has been appointed sales executive for Italy for London-based JPMorgan Investor Services Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Mariagrazia brings with her a wealth of sales experience and market knowledge that will significantly strengthen the sales group's efforts in this strategic market for EMEA. She was previously with The Bank of New York, London, where she was responsible for selling Securities Processing Services in Italy and Greece. Earlier in her career, she had spent seven years at The Bank of New York Milan Representative Office in Milan as associate representative with responsibility over relationships with the banking segment.
