Executive Changes

Jerry R. Licari named national industry director for KPMG LLP; Joseph Mauriello appointed vice chairman of KPMG LLP Financial Services practice; Patrice Blanc selected chairman and CEO of Fimat International Banque S.A.; Greg Sawers appointed managing director and global head of research at Credit Suisse Asset Management.,

Jerry R. Licari was named national industry director for KPMG LLP, an accounting and tax firm. His promotion leaves him to oversee the banking practice, which services investment banks, securities firms and investment management firms. He succeeds Robert F. Arming who has taken the position of partner in charge of the firm's New York Financial Services business unit. Licari has worked for KPMG for 34 years and most recently headed their Enterprise Risk Management services for the Financial Services practice.

Joseph Mauriello was named vice chairman of KPMG LLP Financial Services practice. He will be responsible for overseeing the firm's banking, insurance and real estate practices and is based in the company's New York offices. Mauriello has worked for KPMG for 37 years and has held numerous executive positions. He is a licensed accountant in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and California and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Patrice Blanc was appointed chairman and CEO of Fimat International Banque S.A, a global brokerage organization and part of Societe Generale Group. Blanc will begin his new position in Sept. 2002. He is currently chairman and president of Fimat USA Inc., a position he has held since 2000. Blanc is a graduate of Ecole Superieure de Commerce Exterieur. He began working for Fitmat in 1989.

Greg Sawers was appointed managing director and global head of research at Credit Suisse Asset Management, a part of Credit Suisse First Boston, a global investment bank that has offices in the United States, Europe, Asia and Australia. Sawers previous job was with Sanford C. Bernstein/Alliance Capital. He has been working in the industry for 15 years.
