November 24, 2008 Salt Lake City-based Zions Bancorporation has implemented Orbograph's (Billerica, Mass.) Automation 08 recognition services within its POD workflow.

According to Orbograph, the Automation 08 recognition service enables financial institutions and service bureaus to approach straight-through-processing (STP) levels of efficiency and targets automation levels of 98 percent with 99 percent accuracy. Operationally, this solution will eliminate all but 2 percent of the Amount Field data entry requirements for Zions Bancorporation. It will also significantly reduce balancing costs by attaining 99 percent accuracy, says the company.
