Imex, a thin-client trade finance solution from Toronto-based Surecomp, has been certified as bolero.net enabled.
Bolero.net may be used as a document-messaging platform to and from Imex. In addition, Imex can now receive and send any of the bank-related BoleroXML messages, including messages to issue and amend, and presentation of documents under documentary credits.
Supported by seven of the world's major banking groups as well as global trading houses and major carriers, bolero.net supports paperless trading using the Internet, allowing documents and data to be exchanged online between all parties within the trade chain.
Separately, Paris-based Societe Generale has licensed Surecomp's NetImex Internet front-office trade finance solution for its corporate clients. The bank last year tapped IBSnet, Surecomp's core trade platform.
