SunGard Upgrades Core Banking User Interface, Teller Platform

Teller platform lets tellers toggle between fast-service mode and consultative sales mode.

SunGard has enhanced its Ambit Enterprise Banking Suite with a new user interface and an upgraded branch teller platform. The company says it took these steps to help banks address client trust.

The new release has an Adobe Flex-based architecture that supports browser and smart client deployment models. The new user interface, Sungard says, combines client service operations, teller operations, campaign and lead management, complaints and case management in one integrated program.

The upgraded branch teller platform lets tellers switch between a fast track efficiency mode and a teller/seller mode. This is meant to help branches meet sales targets without impacting performance during a branch’s peak busy periods.
