The main objective is to simplify the lives of our customers and make it easier for them to do business with us. We have two examples of where we are focusing our efforts.

One is what we call an event-messaging platform, which is going to allow our customers to sign up for specific information about their accounts and receive that information via the vehicle of their choice, via e-mail or fax.

And we're also going to make it easier for our customers to sign up for new services. We will be rolling out a feature where they can add services with the click of a button.

A 13-year veteran of Wells Fargo, Peltz leads the development of its Commercial Electronic Office (CEO) portal. His focus include financial services, customer needs and Internet technology.

Peltz currently is responsible for evaluating potential partners and integrating their business models into the portal. He also establishes relationships with business groups throughout the bank.
