First Keystone Upgrades Core With Open Solutions

First Keystone National Bank (Berwick, Penn.) selected Open Solutions Inc.'s (Glastonbury, Conn.) latest version of its relational core processing platform, The Complete Banking Solution: DNA. TCBS: DNA will be used by First Keystone to streamline operations and modernize its infrastructure.

TCBS: DNA is built on a centralized Oracle relational database designed to be an open architecture application, creating the flexibility necessary for running a service-oriented financial institution. By capitalizing on Open Solutions' universal data model and .NET design, the platform is designed to help community banks streamline both front- and back-office processes and creates a centralized view of customers, employees and business partners.

In addition to the core system, First Keystone will also implement Open Solutions' imaged-based item processing solution, loan origination system, financial accounting suite, telephony solution, digital document solution and e-CB (Internet banking). All these products are designed to integrate with TCBS.
