Christine Pratt to Head Aite Group’s Lending and Credit Risk Research

Bolstering its expertise in the lending and credit areas, Boston-based Aite Group has hired Christine Pratt to head the firm’s research on lending and credit risk. Pratt’s coverage will span the research and advisory firm’s Retail Banking and Wholesale Banking client segments.

Before joining Aite Group, Pratt served as president and CEO of Pratt Associates, a firm dedicated to providing marketing and competitive intelligence, including research advisory and consulting services, to the financial services and healthcare industries. Prior to that, she was a research director within Financial Insights’ Consumer Banking and Credit practice, and senior research analyst with TowerGroup’s Consumer Credit practice.

Pratt also brings domain expertise to Aite Group, having held a COO position for both the consumer lending and mortgage subsidiaries of a large regional lender. In addition, she managed multiple core banking systems conversions for RBS Citizens Bank and was a senior VP at BayBanks, where she oversaw all credit operations (including credit cards, mortgages, and auto finance). At Shawmut Bank, Pratt drove the centralization of corporate customer call centers and managed all corporate services operations.
