Bank of the West implements Lightning SaaS

San Francisco-based Bank of the West ($61 billion in assets) today announced it has completed implementation of Lightning, an SaaS solution from financial services provider SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc.

San Francisco-based Bank of the West ($61 billion in assets) today announced it has completed implementation of Lightning, an SaaS solution from financial services provider SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc.

The bank will use SS&C Technologies' services to support fixed income trading, sales and safekeeping services.

"As a leading provider of banking services, we want to demonstrate leadership about the technologies we use to attract and retain a range of clients including the larger institutions, and SS&C's Lightning helps fulfill our need for efficiencies and our clients' need for value-added services," Said Bill Goodeill, senior vice president, Treasury Operations Manager, for Bank of the West.

According to a release, Bank of the West expects to grow its capital markets business and implemented lightning to deliver an integrated, straight-through processing environment.
