Yodlee and Open Solutions Bring PFM to Credit Unions and Community Banks

The two companies have partnered to integrate Yodlee personal finance management tools with the Open Solutions DNAweb online banking platform.

Open Solutions, a financial services technology provider that targets credit unions and community banks, has partnered with Yodlee, a provider of online personal finance management (PFM) tools and payment solutions. The new partnership will integrate Yodlee's PFM platform with the Open Solutions' DNAweb online banking platform.

The integration will also include the Yodlee FinApp Center, an online marketplace that allows financial institutions to choose financial apps to offer to their customers, from tax preparation to identity protection to investment management and more. Financial institutions who opt to use the Open Solutions platform will be able to offer Yodlee PFM tools and the FinApp Center through their own websites starting in early 2012.

"Providing more flexible options in personal finance management adds tremendous value for online banking customers," said John Messier, VP of Product Management at Open Solutions, in a statement released with the announcement. "With the release of our next-generation online banking platform, DNAweb, the subsequent addition of Yodlee's market-leading PFM platform as well as the addition of FinApps will help our bank and credit union customers better satisfy, engage, and service their own customers a role we greatly value."
