Waterloo, Iowa-based Veridian Credit Union has chosen the ClairMail (Novato, Calif.) mobile banking solution to power its new mobile banking offering, the vendor announced in a press release.
Veridian will use the ClairMail solution to give its members access to their accounts via most mobile devices. According to the press release, members will be able to perform a variety of activities including checking account balances, transferring funds and viewing their transaction history. In addition, members can sign up for text message alerts and dictate which specific occurrences trigger those alerts.
"ClairMail's solution not only provides our members with the most advanced mobile banking functionality today, but is built on an innovative platform that will enable Veridian to adopt new technology that is shaping the mobile channel in the future," Brett Engstrom, web services manager for Veridian, said in the release. "The company's unique multi-level alerting functionality will allow our members to instantly receive critical, account-specific alerts and respond to alerts directly from their mobile phones in order to immediately resolve issues."
