TD Bank has introduced mobile check deposit for its customers using its mobile banking app for Android and iPhone, the bank said in a statement yesterday.
The mobile deposit capability will be available for any TD customers who have had a checking, savings or money market account for at least 90 days, the bank said.
Users simply have to download the bank’s mobile app, or update the app if they already have, and can they can then use the new capability by taking a picture of a check with their smartphone, the statement noted.
“We continue to make significant investments in developing and enhancing our online and mobile capabilities because we know our customers value these convenient ways to bank with us,” Nandita Bakhshi, head of retail distribution and products for TD, said in the statement.
