September 21, 2008 Fifth Third Bank (Cincinnati) has selected the Web Promises solution from information technology and business process services provider CGI Group Inc. (Fairfax, Va.). CGI's Web Promises solution will integrate the bank's collections self-service to its enterprise collections systems, including to CGI's CACS Enterprise Collections and Recovery Solution. Web Promises serves as a Web agent that organizations can integrate into existing collections systems to facilitate 24 x 7 collection activity without agent intervention, including most aspects of debt negotiations, commitments, payments and settlements. This tool enables customers to promises in a self-service mode, on their schedule.
