KANBAY $65M CONTACT

Prospect Heights, Ill.-based Household International, an HSBC subsidiary, signed a $65 million contract with Kanbay, Rosemont, Ill., for "co-sourced" code development for lending, credit card, and internal systems.

DEUTSCHE PICKS WHOLESECURITY

Deutsche Bank, based in Frankfurt, has secured remote access to its systems using Austin, TX-based WholeSecurity's Confidence Online, which protects against attacks such as keystroke loggers at public kiosks and unsecured computer terminals.

JP MORGAN/VASTERA ALLIANCE

JP Morgan (New York) entered into an alliance with Vastera, Dulles, Va., to provide a global trade management solution that will address the complexity of document management.

ABN AMRO/PNC PACT

ABN AMRO Mortgage Group (Amsterdam) confirmed an origination servicing agreement with PNC Consumer Services, Pittsburgh, which will originate and fulfill loans through its call center.

FTB OUTSOURCING DEAL

Memphis-based First Tennessee Bank has signed a five-year outsourcing agreement with Fidelity Information Services (Little Rock, Ark.), which will manage the bank's data processing operations and provide related support services.

WACHOVIA/DEALERTRACK

Charlotte, N.C.-based Wachovia will participate in the DealerTrack (Melville, N.Y.) auto finance platform, which allows auto dealers to electronically submit credit applications.

FISERV BUYING EDS CU GROUP

Fiserv, Inc. (Brookfield, Wis.), and Plano, Tex.-based EDS announced an agreement under which Fiserv will acquire the EDS Credit Union Industry Group (CUIG) for $218 million in cash.

HUNTINGTON EXAMETRIC

Huntington National Bank, headquartered in Columbus, Oh., deployed scheduling and staffing software from San Diego-based Exametric to manage its 334-branch network.

First Federal Savings and Loan, Martinsville, Va., has chosen Intrieve (Cincinnati) for its core data processing solution.

Harborstone Credit Union, Tacoma, Wash., will use core processing systems from Plano, Tex.-based Aurum Technology in order to provide business banking to its members.

FIDELITY FEDERAL PICKS TCN

Fidelity Federal Bank Trust (West Palm Beach, Fla.) selected The Credit Network (TCN), a Framingham, Mass.-based mortgage credit reporting service provider, to provide credit reports through the vendor's iTCN credit reporting platform.
