Prospect Heights, Ill.-based Household International, an HSBC subsidiary, signed a $65 million contract with Kanbay, Rosemont, Ill., for "co-sourced" code development for lending, credit card, and internal systems.

DEUTSCHE PICKS WHOLESECURITY

Deutsche Bank, based in Frankfurt, has secured remote access to its systems using Austin, TX-based WholeSecurity's Confidence Online, which protects against attacks such as keystroke loggers at public kiosks and unsecured computer terminals.
