SunTrust Bank today announced it has selected infrastructure solutions provider Viewpointe's OnPointe hosted information governance platform to help manage information in its enterprise business systems.
OnPointe is a cloud-based solution that integrates technology and infrastructure that enables users to collect, analyze, classify, retain, preserve and dispose of business information based on its legal, regulatory and business requirements.
OnPointe is deployed as a modular service that seeks to address the information governance challenges typically resulting from information growth, demands for accessibility, rigid compliance mandates, eDiscovery response and needs for innovative customer engagement models, according to Viewpointe.
